The Presidient has already refused to sign the certification that Iran is in compliance. 

2016 REPUBLICAN PLATFORM ON ISRAEL  entitled “Our Unequivocal Support of Israel and Jerusalem:”

- Calls support for Israel “an expression of Americanism”

- Recognizes "Jerusalem as the eternal and indivisible capital of the Jewish state" which President Trump did in December 2017

- Commits America to "ensuring Israel maintains a qualitative military edge over all adversaries"

-  Rejects the false notion that Israel is an occupier, and specifically recognizes that the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement ("BDS") is anti-Semitic in nature and seeks to destroy Israel."

- Opposes “any measures intended to impose an agreement or to dictate borders or other terms, and call for the immediate termination of all U.S. funding of any entity that attempts to do so.”

President Trump has begun implementing this program. He has to have a Republican controlled Congress to continue to support Israel. We must  elect Republicans in the 2018 mid-term elections.

During this busy season you may not be paying close attention to a very important constitutional crisis brewing in our midst.

Judge Brett Kavanaugh is nominated to replace retired Justice Anthony Kennedy on the United States Supreme Court. Judge Kavanaugh is consistently described as supremely qualified to serve on our nation’s highest court by all objective measures and measurers.

BUT KAVANAUGH’S NOMINATION IS NOW ENDANGERED BY A HIGHLY ORCHESTRATED SLEIGHT-OF-HAND INTENDED TO IMPUGN HIS INTEGRITY, DERAIL HIS NOMINATION, STAIN OUR SCOTUS SELECTION PROCESS and IMPAIR DUE PROCESS.

The attack on Judge Kavanaugh, if successful,

 -will not only deprive us of a superb Supreme Court justice,

 - it will expose every US citizen to inquisition-like review of all behavior from any point in life, whether true or false.

Judge Kavanaugh performed impeccably atYale’s college and law schools. He clerked for some of the most demanding and well-respected federal judges in our country, including the Supreme Court Justice whom he was nominated to replace. Judge Kavanaugh also worked in the Solicitor General’s office, which represents the United States Government in litigation in the Supreme Court. He also, served as a member of the staff of the Office of the White House Counsel. He is the author of more than 300 decisions made as a judge on the US Court of Appeals, many of which were sustained at the Supreme Court.

Those seeking to derail Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation process withheld the allegation for months, throughout the period allotted to fully investigate every detail and question the Judge and all who know him, or who know anything of note about him. The unsubstantiated claim of unwanted behavior by the then-17-year-old Kavanaugh were neither provided to the public nor submitted to the Senate Judiciary Committee for review and examination during this process, despite hundreds of thousands of pages of documents reviewed, six full FBI background checks, many dozens of meetings and phone calls focused solely on the judge’s qualifications to serve on the Court. The FBI does not investigate the behavior of minors--nor should it.

In sum, the allegation raised by Judge Kavanaugh’s opponents consists of a claim of inappropriate behavior by a teenage boy 30+ years ago, an allegation never raised in the ensuing years even including Kavanaugh’s last confirmation to the US Court of Appeals, and not until Judge Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation process drew to a close. That allegation was in the hands of his opponents since last summer, but no effort was made to explore its veracity, query the nominee about it, nor was it provided to the public until mere hours before the final committee vote was to take place. It is hard to characterize this sandbagging effort as anything but an assault on our revered democratic process.

Everyone MUST tell their U.S. Senators TO SUPPORT JUDGE KAVANAUGH, MOVE HIS NOMINATION FORWARD, VOTE TO PLACE HIM ON THE HIGHEST COURT OF OUR LAND, AND HELP BEAT BACK THIS ATTACK ON DUE PROCESS WHICH THREATENS ALL OF US.
